The Peeps at The Peep

The Bo Peep has a long and distinguished history - all of which can be found on the HISTORY page. The most recent history, however, reads as follows:

"Local Chelsfieldians", Graham Buckley and Kate Mansfield, purchased The Bo Peep in February 2006. Graham has his own business supplying fresh fish to restaurants in and around the South East including The Bo Peep - so fish is somewhat of a speciality for us.

Kate's CV is full of catering and hospitality experience. She started by doing an HND in Hotel & Catering Management at Cheltenham College. From college, Kate went on to become the assistant manager for a small 18 bedroom hotel in Buckinghamshire. From there she went onto become the Food & Beverage manager for Thistle Hotel. The three years following that saw Kate open and manage a brasserie in Buckinghamshire. She moved onto work for Woods and was responsible for corporate sales for Thames river cruises and lastly before coming to the Bo Peep, she worked for Hospitality Line, an events management company in Chislehurst. 

Graham and Kate have a team of people supporting them:

   Howard Cooper (aka 'H'), a local lad, is our Head Chef and has a long standing relationship with The Bo Peep. Howard began as a kitchen porter at the age of 14. A year later he started helping out on the starter bench and there his interest in cooking became a reality. After completing his GCSEs, Howard attended West Kent College. He continued working at the Bo Peep throughout his studies gaining work experience. He then went on to work at The Watermark in Eynsford. In between, he had the opportunity to work at the Henley Regatta with the Roux brothers. Howard has been back at The Bo Peep since July 2006.

   Matt Lamb ,19 years old, graduated from West Kent College in June 2007 . He has experience in hospitality and catering at large scale events such as Henley Regatta ( working with Albert Roux ) , Cheltenham and Goodwood Races .Matt left the Crown in Leaves Green  to join The Bo Peep in December of 2007  as Sous Chef to Howard .

 

The rest of the team is made up of friendly, local 'Peeps' and 'Peepesses'. Together we welcome you and yours for a day/night out, set in a little piece of history in the beautiful Kent countryside.
